AAWS Mission

This is the only time I get a chance to get out of my wheelchair and on the water skiing all while I am surrounded by God’s beauty. It is the closest to God I have ever felt.
— Stephanie Edwards

Our mission is for anyone with a disability to have access to get on the water and embrace the freedom and adventure that awaits. We are a faith-based organization and serve in the healing ministry of Christ.

...every perfect gift is from above.
— James 1:17

We serve children ages 3 and up and adults with physical and cognitive challenges.  You need to be 1 year post injury unless cleared by your doctor to participate in all activities except fishing and boating. For no additional charge, family, friends and caregivers are welcome to attend with you during your fun day. Enjoy time together fishing and boating and they are welcome to observe the waterskiing and tubing activities.
